Lionel 192 Vintage O Operating Control Tower VG

Here is a Lionel 192 Vintage O Operating Control Tower. This was a short lived accessory and therefore quite rare. It is a control tower, either for an airport or railroad. It is lighted and there are two men inside that run around in circles. The roof was easily melted by the heat of the light bulb, so finding one with an unmelted roof is difficult.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item shows scratches, scrapes, nicks, dents, and spots of paint loss on various sections throughout the body, detail pieces, and base. There is rust on several metal hardware pieces. The figures and the weathervane are missing. Theis item has not been tested and are being sold As-Is. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
