Lionel 192 Vintage O Operating Control Tower VG

Here is a Lionel 192 Vintage O Operating Control Tower. This was a short lived accessory and therefore quite rare. It is a control tower, either for an airport or railroad. It is lighted and there are two men inside that run around in circles. The roof was easily melted by the heat of the light bulb, so finding one with an unmelted roof is difficult.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The roof piece is broken and sits loosely from its mount. Various sections of the tower show scraping and paint loss. The metal trim shows rusting. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
