Lionel 2855 Vintage O Gauge Postwar Sunoco Black Semi-Scale Tank Car VG/Box

This is a Lionel 2855 Vintage O Sunoco Black Semi-Scale Tank Car from 1946. The 2855 is much harder to find than the 2555 and only came in two sets during the Postwar Era. This car features die-cast closed metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. The 2855 was available in black only in 1946 [in 1947 the color changed to gray].

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the body as well as the underframe. The wheels show average run-time. There are rust markings on this unit. Some of the trim pieces are loose but still in tact with the unit. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included. Overall condition is Very Good.
