Lionel 6-17682 Reading Northeastern Caboose EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 6-17682 Reading Northeastern Caboose. Originally designed by the Reading Railroad in the 1920‘s, the Northeastern style caboose is recognized by its conservative center cupola and rugged, all-steel construction. These cabins were commonly found on railroads throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for many decades. Based on original drawings, the Northeastern Caboose offered by Lionel accurately recreates Reading‘s influential NM class of 32-foot cabooses. This car features Separately applied metal underframe details, smoke unit with ON/OFF control, train crew figure, detailed and painted interior, opening doors, die-cast metal sprung trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The instruction manual is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. The original box is included. Overall condition is Excellent.
