Originally designed by the Reading Railroad in the 1920’s, the "northeastern" style caboose is recognized by its conservative center cupola and rugged, all-steel construction. These cabins were commonly found on railroads throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for many decades. Features include Separately applied metal underframe details, Hidden uncoupling tabs, Smoke unit with ON/OFF control, Train crew figure, Detailed and painted interior, Opening doors, Window visors, Gauge: Standard O, Dimensions: Length: 8 1/2", and the Minimum Curve radius is O-31.
