Features include one powered and one non-powered diesel locomotive, ProtoSound, two powerful motors in the powered A unit, directional constant voltage lighting, illuminated interior, die-cast metal truck sides, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions.
